4am give hints at who are the first members arriving at the team house

Four Angry Men, in short 4am, are set to enter the Dota 2 scene with what is regarded to be, at least on paper, a China dream team.

The Chinese big shuffle ended earlier this month, however, 4am were not ready to reveal the full roster, and didn’t fuel the rumours regarding their signings. Yesterday, however, the organization revealed the team logo and started a riddle game on Weibo inviting the fans to guess who are the first players that arrived at the team house.

Following the logo reveal, the organization posted a picture of the welcoming board at the 4am team house where the players arriving are signing with a symbol that resonates with their nicknames or the memes created by the community.

The welcoming message on the board reads:

“Pick your own room. First come, first served!
If there is any dispute, decide by playing a solo mid duel (Dota2)”

So far, four players have put their stamps on the board and by the looks of it, the first person that arrived at the team house is Zhou “Yang” Haiyang, who is dubbed by the Chinese community as “Pi Xie 皮鞋)”, which translates as shoes. His fans call him ‘shoes’ because he is known for his appearances wearing fancy dress shoes sometimes even at LAN tournaments.

Right after Yang’s Shoe signature, is Ru “RedPanda” Zhihao, who has been rumoured for the past couple of weeks to have left Sparking Arrow Gaming in favor of 4AM. SAG have already played their first official matches after the shuffle and introduced a new line-up without RedPanda on it.

The third signature placed on the board is also pretty simple to interpret. It’s Lu “Somnus/Maybe” Yao, who drew himself in his “caveman” appearance from EPICENTER XL Major from 2018, when PSG.LGD took the title.

Finally, the fourth player arrived at the team house and chose to reference a hard to swallow moment from his time at PSG.LGD. In the TI8 True Sight movie Xu “fy” Linsen is shown with the celebrating fireworks for OG’s victory at the end of one the most amazing grand finals in the history of The International.

According to the hints gave by 4am, their roster so far is as follows:

  • Lu “Somnus/Maybe” Yao
  • Zhou “Yang” Haiyang
  • Xu “fy” Linsen
  • Ru “RedPanda” Zhihao

The only missing puzzle piece is the carry player, but the wait shouldn’t be too long until the organization is ready to make the official announcement.
