French esports organisation Team Vitality has announced a partnership with supermarket chain ALDI France.
The agreement, which spans over a three year period, will see both entities look to take a step into a sector that has previously been unexplored by the two brands.

ALDI France will collaborate with Team Vitality in promoting a healthy and varied diet to esports fans alongside the organisation’s own players. Moreover, the supermarket chain will gain ‘high visibility’ on Team Vitality’s various communication channels.
ALDI France’s logo will also be prominent on select Team Vitality player jerseys. The organisation’s teams competing in Fortnite, FIFA and in the LFL, a League of Legends competition in France, will all have the supermarket chain’s branding on its jersey sleeve.
Aurélie Taude, Marketing and Communication Director at ALDI France commented: “It was clear to us that Team Vitality was to be part of our esports partnership platform.
“At ALDI France, we really want to work towards a common goal. To assist these players in their healthy lifestyle, through programmes and action designed to support them in competition. This is an opportunity for all of us to make a long-term commitment and to promote the link between nutrition and the practice of esports.”

The partnership between the two was signed through the agency Seven by You First Sports and is Team Vitality’s first partnership in the retail sector.
Quentin Bravet and Francois Gandolfi, Co-Founders and Associate Directors of Seven by You First Sports added: “We are very pleased to have partnered ALDI with Team Vitality for the next three years and look forward to launching the ‘eat healthy’ activation programme for players and fans.”
The partnership will also allow ALDI France to benefit from high visibility on the various media of Team Vitality, as well as on the jersey sleeves of the teams playing in Fortnite, FIFA and in the French League of Legends championship, the LFL.
Nicolas Maurer, Managing Director of Team Vitality continued: “Team Vitality is delighted to partner with ALDI. The group’s impressive growth in its sector is reminiscent of Team Vitality’s trajectory in esports, and ALDI’s desire to promote healthy and varied nutrition for all echoes the constant search for performance within our teams.”
Esports Insider Says: Team Vitality has made an impact in the industry lately with their eastern expansion, as well as its continued collaborations with adidas. However, this partnership continues to highlight the organisation’s growth in Europe, in particular showcasing the mainstream popularity Team Vitality has in its homeland of France.
