Things are getting spicy in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional league Philippines! Ahead of the playoffs which are set to run from October 22nd to 25th, the BREN Esports head coach, Francis “Duckey” Glindro, got the trash talk flowing.
During an appearance on the Asus ROG Podcast hosted by Dan “Leo” Cubangay this past Thursday night (10/15/2020), Duckey didn’t hold back his thoughts on his teams upcoming playoff match against Nexplay Solid.
When asked how he thought the match between Group B’s top seed and NXP would go, he was very straight forward. “Gusto n’yo ba real talk? 3-0 definitely for Bren Esports,” he stated.
Why does he feel so confident? He narrowed it down to two specific aspects of the match and his opponent.
“First one, they don’t have their own identity. “Monkey see, monkey do.” What they see, they do it without realizing the dynamics of their team is different,” he explained. “Second point is that majority of their players already reached their mechanic caps. That’s the best that they can perform,” he added. “Ito na ‘yung Taguro isandaang porsyento.”
He wasn’t finished either, after explaining that Renejay “RENEJAY” Barcarse and Tristan “YAWI” Cabrera weren’t necessarily included in his second point he called out Dogie specifically.
“Honestly, I don’t really care how much pronouncements Dogie says like, ‘Babaliin namin yung meta.’ I don’t really care man. The only thing that matters to me is if you do it. I haven’t seen them do it. And that’s some real talk Dogie”
Well now it’s time to show up in the server and put the talk to the test and both teams will be looking to prove they’ve got what it takes. Who do you think will come away victorious?
