The season has officially started! Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League – Philippines kicked off today with Bren Esports taking on ONIC PH in the opener while Nexplay Solid and Blu Fire followed to close out the opening day.
Bren Esports vs. ONIC PH:
Bren Esports came out swinging, dominating the Season 5 runner-ups 20-2 before closing out the first game with relative ease. ONIC wouldn’t just roll over, however, and a tooth & nail battle in game two saw ONIC even the odds at 1-1 heading into the third and final meeting in the series.
Things stayed close for a period of time at the teams were set at 6-5 with a near 10k gold differential favoring Bren Esports. From that point it was an “explosive dive” as the commentator dubbed it which saw Bren Esports go on a quick streak to hit 14-5 and take the final match and series.
Nexplay Solid vs. Blu Fire:
It was another blow out first match in the second series of the day as Nexplay Solid crushed their opponents in the opener 17-6 in only 14 minutes.
Things wouldn’t go much better in game two as Blu Fire were once again outclassed. Nexplay Solid would hold a 24-9 lead in kills, leading them to the first 2-0 of the series after a 16 and a half minute second game.
