Professional Call of Duty League players will only have one day to practice before they’re competing again in the CDL’s own launch week tournaments.
Following Black Ops Cold War’s release on Friday, November 13, the Call of Duty League will be hosting a full week of tournaments. Seven CDL teams will each host their own tournament, with $25K on the line in each one.

Atlanta FaZe will kick things off on Saturday with the Cold War Clash. This tournament will not only feature CDL pros but FaZe Clan members will participate too. Newly announced OpTic Chicago will follow on Sunday, Minnesota on Monday, then Dallas, Florida and London before the Toronto Ultra finish the week on Friday, November 20.

Each tournament is likely to follow the new Call of Duty League competitive ruleset for Cold War. This means that we may see our first glimpse of the League Play feature, along with some of the rules we may see in the Call of Duty League this season. With each tournament putting up a $25K prize pool, teams will by grinding on Friday to try to be as prepared as possible for the first Atlanta FaZe Cold War Clash the following day.
