Cr1t becomes the first support player to reach the 11K MMR milestone

Andreas “Cr1t-” Nielsen is the sixth overall player and the first support to reach 11K MMR.

However, despite being one of the best support 4 players of the competitive scene, Cr1t made the final push to 11K with core heroes. His public matchmaking history for the last month features plenty of Pangolier games in the mid lane and a lot of safe lane Troll Warlord. Nonetheless, he also has a couple of support plays on Io, Phoenix, Tusk and his signature Earth Spirit, the latter being played both support and mid lane.

Cr1t is also the first European player to boost the impressive ranked numbers, sitting now first on the European leaderboards. Those who reached 11K MMR before him are from Southeast Asia and CIS. His Evil Geniuses teammate, Azel “Abed” Yusop, was the first ever player to get to 11K, back in May this year.

Players at 11K MMR:

  •  Azel “Abed” Yusop (May 13, 2020)
  • Nuengnara “23savage” Teeramahanon (July 23, 2020)
  • Danil “gpk” Skutin (August 24, 2020)
  • Egor “epileptick1d” Grigorenko (August 27, 2020)
  • Karl “Karl” Jayme (October 8, 2020)
  • Andreas “Cr1t-” Nielsen (October 13,2020)

Right behind Cr1t on the EU leaderboards, is Alliance’s mid lane player, Linus “Limmp” Blomdin, but if Valve will indeed reset the ranked matchmaking this week, he doesn’t have much time at his disposal to join the elite club.

The current ranked matchmaking season is the fourth one since the Medals have been implemented and it’s the longest one. While the first three seasons lasted 6 to 7 months at most, the current season is days apart from a full year since the reset, which was made on the 19th of October 2019.
