Dan “apEX” Madesclaire, Team Vitality’s in-game leader said he will be temporarily stepping down from the active roster amid BLAST Premier Spring; which kicked off on Feb 4.
The French teams coach, Rémy “XTQZZZ” Quoniam, took to his Twitter to confirm that apEX has decided to take a breather amid the BLAST spring series and will remain inactive for an unspecified length of time.

While there are no firm details about exactly how long the break will be, XTQZZZ did say apEX can take his time to recover from his “personal problems.”
Vitality’s roster will continue without apEX on side throughout the rest of the BLAST Premier Spring Series. But the future of the team’s leadership in upcoming tournaments remains uncertain.
Team Vitality’s future plans
XTQZZZ noted that apEX plays a vital role in Team Vitality, and they will be looking forward to seeing him back at his best as soon as possible.
The team admitted it was shocked by the announcement, especially since the new season has only just begun. However, it cited the worldwide health crisis as a potential reason, coupled with “the hazards of personal life.”
Team Vitality’s current CS:GO roster is:
