DreamHack has revealed details regarding the combined DreamHack Open event. The event will be made up of regional tournaments taking place in North America, Europe, Asia, and Oceania.
This news follows the previous announcement by DreamHack that the Open events previously scheduled for Valencia, Montreal, and Hyderabad had been cancelled and would instead take place online due to the ongoing COVID-19 global pandemic.
The DreamHack Open Summer Europe event will replace Valencia’s stop, the North American event will fill in for Montreal, and the Hyderabad tournament has been replaced by the Asia and Oceania event.
The broadcast will be made from the Monster Energy DreamHack Studio in Stockholm, Sweden. Both the players and the talent will not be on-site though and will instead be participating from their homes.
The dates are currently unknown for the first stage of the European and North American event.
