EHOME's OGA Dota PIT Season 4 run ends with a third place finish

OGA Dota PIT Season 4: China is almost at its end with today
seeing the penultimate series which would be the lower bracket final – an elimination
series between EHOME and Elephant.

In recent events when the two teams have met, it has been
apparent that they have been well-matched, with the teams often taking alternating
series against one another. With a total of five played, Elephant had the advantage,
having won three, but this was a new event and they had not yet faced off
against one another. With a spot in the grand finals to take on PSG.LGD on the
line, the series was set to be epic.

As we went into the series, we saw the famous Drow Ranger
coming out from Elephant’s Zhang “Eurus” Chengjun, which managed to control the
first game and help pull the team into an early series lead. EHOME were unable
to really make any impact and but game two was a complete turnaround as they
pummeled Elephant into submission. Guo “Xm” Hongcheng’s Pugna and Song “Sccc”
Chun’s Juggernaut went completely untouched over the 31-minute game as EHOME
tied up the series and forced a game three.

The final game of the series was less of a stomp than the
previous two, on the scoreboard at least. However, EHOME were only able to take
one good fight throughout the game. Although EHOME were able to keep up, to
some degree, in the kill department, it was nowhere near enough to take down
Elephant as they eventually called GG after nearly being completely wiped from
the map.

With that, EHOME would exit the OGA Dota PIT Season 4: China
event in an admirable third place, leaving Elephant to fight against PSG.LGD in
the grand finals – a replay of the upper bracket finals but this time with a
best-of-five to decide the tournament winner.
