The ESL Mobile Open presented by AT&T will add Auto Chess to its list of games for its fifth season. The games list currently includes Asphalt 9: Legends, Clash of Clans, and PUBG MOBILE.
Additionally, the North American mobile-focused tournament series will be integrated into PUBG Mobile’s official esports ecosystem, with the winner of its competition automatically qualifying for the PUBG MOBILE Club Open, a premier international tournament for the title. Typically, teams would have to qualify by first participating in a regional qualifier event.
Teams and players will compete through several rounds aiming to qualify for a finals event with $400K USD on the line.
AT&T and ESL launched the Mobile Open as part of their steadily-expanding partnership last year, hosting three seasons during 2019. Last December, the companies announced the tournament series would continue for three more seasons.
