EXTREMUM look to bring in kassad, reunite him with 100T core – report

Just a day after Cloud9 announced the departure of Aleksandar “kassad” Trifunović there’s reports he’s already found a new home. A post by 1pv.fr claims the former Renegades/100 Thieves/Cloud9 head coach will be reuniting with the RNG/100T core under a new organization.

It was reported in early November that Aaron “AZR” Ward, Jay “Liazz” Tregillgas, and Sean “Gratisfaction” Kaiwai had been in talks to join EXTREMUM, a Russian organization backed by private investors. Since then Joakim “jkaem” Myrbostad’s departure from Apeks after a short has added him to the reunion.

kassad’s departure from Cloud9 came due to “a stylistic clash between the IGL (Alex) and Kassad’s game, leading to a few too many compromises from a strategic point of view,” according to General Manager Henry “HenryG” Greer.

Now he’ll get to work alongside an in-game leader he’s very familiar with in the form of AZR. Which fifth player he’ll be coaching has yet to be determined, however, as the hunt for the final piece of the puzzle is still underway. The previous 100 Thieves member Justin “jks” Savage is currently signed to Complexity, so unless he craves a reunion and the organization is willing to buy him out of his contract, they’ll be bringing in some fresh blood.

Rumored EXTREMUM CS:GO lineup:

 Aaron “AZR” Ward
 Jay “Liazz” Tregillgas
 Sean “Gratisfaction” Kaiwai
 Joakim “jkaem” Myrbostad

 Aleksandar “kassad” Trifunović
