Red Chrome AK-47 trophy
The brand new trophy is a stunning AK-47, signature weapon of CSGO and one of the most frequently used throughout Counter-Strike history.
The tournament organizers have really outdone themselves on the design. The red color of the AK-47 suits the terrorist side in CSGO, and the chrome finish on the whole trophy adds to the appeal. The red Flashpoint logo also matches the overall color scheme and further makes this trophy cabinet-worthy.
Season 1 of Flashpoint
The first season of the league could be considered overall as a success. Despite some teams sticking to ESL instead, Flashpoint had many top-tier teams participating in its tournament. Those included MiBR, MAD Lions, GEN.G, and Dignitas. These teams also established the tourney to make the first CSGO tournament series operated by team organizations.
Flashpoint Season 1 features a $1 million prize pool with $500,000 going to the winner alongside the unique trophy.
Thus far, the Brazilian MiBR have been the most dominant side, topping their groups in Phase 1 and 2 before the playoffs. In the playoffs, Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo’s side also showed some edge by dropping Orgless, HAVU Gaming, and MAD Lions into the lower bracket. Now, they will have to overcome MAD Lions or HAVU Gaming once more in the final to go back home with the AK-47 trophy.
