Epic Games and Fortnite Battle Royale are breaching back into the world of superheroes after a season dedicated entirely to Marvel Comics. This time, another iconic DC Comics character takes center stage following the Green Arrow Fortnite Crew skin and ‘The Last Laugh’ Joker bundle. Barry Allen, a.k.a. The Flash, is the next shoe to drop in the world of Fortnite. Today, Epic officially announced that The Flash bundle would hit the Fortnite Item Shop on February 13 at 7 PM EST. However, competitive fans have a chance to win a free The Flash cosmetic and back bling via The Flash Cup.

The Flash Cup Format & Dates

You’ll need a partner for this tournament as The Flash Cup will utilize the fan-favorite duos format. Unlike previous superhero cups from Chapter 2 – Season 4, this is a straightforward Fortnite tournament. The end goal for each team is to compile as many points as possible. Fortnite’s Flash Cup goes live tomorrow on February 10, and here is The Flash Cup format you’ll need to understand:

  • Open to all players
  • Three-hour session
  • A maximum of ten matches
  • Top-placing duos will collect a free The Flash cosmetic combo

The Flash Cup Scoring System

Placement points are the key to victory in The Flash Cup. Duos can earn 42 points in total for a Victory Royale, and each elimination is worth one point. Here is the complete scoring system breakdown:

The Flash Cup Prize Pool/Free Skin

This tournament does not offer any monetary prizes as most other Fortnite tournaments. Instead, entrants will compete to win The Flash Cup cosmetic outfit and back bling before both appear on the item shop. Teams located in the European region need to finish inside the top 3,500.
