Gambit Esports withdraw from WePlay! Pushka League

The first online league for Gambit Esports didn’t go well at all. Although they started the ESL One Los Angeles Online with a victory over B8 and managed to take a series from Team Nigma as well, they didn’t prevail over any other squad and got eliminated in the group stage.

WePlay! Pushka League should have been Gambit’s second chance to show their best form in an online format, but the organization announced that they decided to skip the event entirely.

“Last month showed that playing from home influences quality of practice and our results. We decided to skip this tournament due to objective obstacles that prevent us from gathering players at boot camp. We’d like to thank WePlay! for an invite and wish luck to all participants,” Gambit Esports commented.

FlyToMoon roster for WePlay! Pushka League:

  • Alik “V-Tune” Vorobey
  • Bogdan “Iceberg” Vasilenko
  • Victor “GeneRaL” Nigrini
  • Ilya “ALOHADANCE” Korobkin
  • Andrey “ALWAYSWANNAFLY” Bondarenko

CIS has two series scheduled for the first day of the group play, with FlyToMoon set to fight against Virtus.pro and Na’Vi against HellRaiser. The full schedule of the first week in the group stage can be found here.
