The updated schedule for Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League Malaysian and Singaporean (MPL-MY/SG S5) section. It was revealed recently that the league would be resuming after a previous postponement due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
The postponement was one of many across all of esports and traditional sports which followed government sanctions all over the world to combat the spread of the virus which has swept across the globe, killing thousands.
The remaining matches of Season 5 will be played out online due to the ongoing pandemic. According to Esports Manager of Moonton Jayden Wei, all matches will be played “under the oversight of remote marshals. This will ensure that our teams and players can participate from wherever they are while ensuring that the integrity of the league is kept at the highest level.”
