Mobile Legends Pro League Season 5 smashes viewership records

The fifth Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Pro league season has come to a close and officially smashed the previous viewership records in the Philippines and Indonesia. The new record in the Philippines made it the most watched esports event in the country – ever!

As the most watched season in the leagues history, this is an all around huge leap for the popular mobile game and it’s publisher, Moonton. The esports scene for the game continues to grow as mobile gaming maintains its upward trajectory.

The ONIC PH vs. Sunsparks MPL-PH finals match brought in the peak viewership at 317,330 viewers.

In Indonesia it was the RRQ vs. EVOS match up in the playoffs that saw record breaking numbers as the highly anticipated match saw 702,689 peak viewers. Those numbers would be toppled when RRQ took home the trophy in the grand finals where viewership broke 1 million.

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang doesn’t seem to be going anywhere and fans all around the world are being captivated but the competitive scene. Will you be tuning in to season 6? We will be!
