Nerd Street unveils nationwide expansion of esports camps – Esports Insider

Esports infrastructure company Nerd Street has expanded its esports camps across North America.

As a result of new partnerships, participants from across the country can take part in summer camps designed to ‘build healthier gaming habits’.

The company has joined forces with US Sports CampsEsports Camps at Seton Hall UniversityApprentice Esports and the City of Philadelphia’s Parks and Recreation Department

Camps will run from June 13th for children aged 9-17 in a range of locations including Denver, North Brunswick and Georgetown.

John Fazio, CEO and Founder of Nerd Street, spoke on the expansion: “As we continue to provide a fun and safe, in-person gaming experience across the country, we are expanding our summer programs with support through our new partners to help young gamers identify a path to success, while learning proper skills, technique, and how to be a better athlete.”

Nerd Street first launched esports camps alongside US Sports Camps in March 2022. The two parties use Localhost facilities to build the leadership and cognitive skills of children.

Esports Insider says: Grassroots esports is hugely important for Nerd Street and thanks to its new partners, the company can expand its camps across North America. Based on the success of its current camps, the expansion is likely to prove fruitful for all involved.
