The programme begins immediately and aims to create a ‘supportive culture that further drives cohesion’ within the team. The New York Subliners currently sit in ninth place in the Call of Duty League table following a turbulent start to the season.

James Frey, CEO of NYXL, spoke on the collaboration: “Innovating and improving the ways in which we support our players and coaches as both competitors and people is one of our highest priorities.

“The experts that will be working with our team from Adamas have developed and strengthened team culture, performance, and player well-being at the highest levels of sport, and we’re excited to bring that expertise to the NYSL.”

The deal marks the first partnership since Andbox rebranded to NYXL earlier this week. Adamas is no stranger to collaborating with esports organisations, with NYSL joining the likes of Tundra Esports, Method and Golden Guardians as partners.

Caleb Cousens, CEO of Adamas Esports, also commented: “Out-of-game training is a matter of in-game performance, and the Subliners get that. Across our partnership, we’re levelling up their coaches and digging into their culture, mental wellness, and player development in new ways that will reimagine their training. The Subliners are an ambitious team, and with investments like this – their future looks bright.”

Esports Insider says: Since the inception of the Call of Duty League, franchises have prioritised coaching and training more than ever. With NYSL joining forces with Adamas Esports, its players and coaching staff will benefit from a tailor-made programme in a bid to improve performance.
