The Dallas Fuel chose not to renew multiple player contracts, including Stefan “Onigod” Fiskerstrand, William “Crimzo” Hernandez, Dylan “aKm” Bignet, Young-jin “Gamsu” Noh, Nolan “Paintbrush” Edwards, Lucas “NotE” Meissner, Ashley “Trill” Powell and Won-sik “Closer” Jung.
Following a disappointing Overwatch League 2020 Season, the Dallas Fuel is reshaping its roster. The team did not renew the contracts of eight players; Stefan “Onigod” Fiskerstrand, William “Crimzo” Hernandez, Dylan “aKm” Bignet, Young-jin “Gamsu” Noh, Nolan “Paintbrush” Edwards, Lucas “NotE” Meissner, Ashley “Trill” Powell and Won-sik “Closer” Jung.
The Overwatch League 2020 Season was a tough one for the Dallas Fuel. The team struggled to find its place in the League, hovering in the middle of the rankings. The Dallas Fuel ended the season at the 13th place – a short improvement from their 15th position in the Overwatch League 2019 Season.

Doha — the sole survivor
The team is now cleaning house as the Dallas Fuel released all players but one: Dong-ha “Doha” Kim. The former Element Mystic player is the sole remaining boy in blue for the Overwatch League 2021 Season. The Dallas Fuel will have to build a roster around the DPS player, as they officially extended his contract.
Since the Dallas Fuel did not renew their contracts, Young-jin “Gamsu” Noh and Ashley “Trill” Powell decided to put an end to their Overwatch League career. Powell is now looking for a team in Valorant, as many Overwatch players before him — including the Overwatch League 2019 MVP, Jay “sinatraa” Won. Noh on his end is going back to his League of Legends roots. He previously played as a top laner for Samsung Galaxy Blue, Team Dignitas and Fnatic. He is now looking for opportunities to get back to a professional level in Riot Games’ MOBA.

The Dallas Fuel has a brand new roster to build. This off-season will be an interesting one to look at, as many teams dropped players but didn’t yet announce any new signings.
