Tournament organizer PGL has announced a strategic partnership with gaming-focused agency Fantasyexpo. The company will serve as PGL’s official marketing and business agency, working to bring new sponsors to PGL events. Fantasyexpo has previously developed activations in the gaming space for clients including Old Spice and KFC.
Later this year, PGL will be the first company to operate an official in-person Valve Major for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. It is expected to be one of the most-watched esports events of the year, given the surge in viewership other esports have seen from their return to live tournaments.
