Over the weekend, Song “Sccc” Chun confirmed that, after negotiations
with a new squad had failed, he would be taking a break from the competitive
Dota 2 scene for a while – but, it seems as though the player has already ended
this as the new EHOME roster is confirmed.
After deciding not to renew his contract with Team Aster, Song “Sccc” Chun became a free agent and with the vast amount of roster changes coming out of the Chinese region, it was hoped that we would see The International runner-up on a new squad. However, over the weekend, the player announced in a stream that he would pull back from the competitive scene for a short time and possibly move back to his home town too – stating that costs in Shanghai were too high, considering his unemployment. But that was not the end of things as now Sccc has been confirmed alongside the new EHOME squad which was announced a short time ago.
In the post, EHOME give full details on each player, stating that upon agreements with PSG.LGD, players have moved between the two rosters.
Through thorough multilateral communication and negotiations, with respect for players’ personal will, EHOME have reached an in-depth cooperation with LGD on DOTA2 and made the following adjustments to the former line-up:
Chalice, xNova Yap, Yao, former positions one, five and coach of PSG.LGD, join EHOME as positions three, five and coach. Xm and James, former players at CDEC Gaming, also join EHOME as position two and four. Sccc, previously a free agent, now joins EHOME as the position one.
The contracts for Zhang “Faith_bian” Ruida, Zhang “y`” Yiping, and Zhang “xiao8” Ning, former players and coach at EHOME, have now expired – as the players take up new spots alongside PSG.LGD with Cheng “NothingToSay” Jin Xiang and Zhao “XinQ” Zixing also moving on to PSG.LGD on a loan term.

The new roster is set to feature players from both the CDEC
Gaming roster and PSG.LGD, fighting under the new organisation banner of EHOME –
with some of the best and most well-known players from the region. The full new
EHOME roster is:
- Song “Sccc” Chun
- Guo “Xm” Hongcheng
- Yang “Chalice” Shenyl
- Zhou “James” Yifu
- Jian Wei “xNova” Yap
- Yao “Yao” Zhengzheng (coach)
- Zheng “Dong” Lingdong (team leader)
- Wang “BigG” Changqi (team manager)
Yao will also become a part of this new roster, coming in as the team’s coach after a little over a year with LGD. This new EHOME squad, as well as the likes of PSG.LGD, Vici Gaming and more will be in action from Thursday when the China Dota2 Pro Cup kicks off. For now, it remains to be seen just what they can do and if the new roster will prevail in the midst of a huge Chinese roster shuffle.
