'SwordArt' officially parts ways with Suning. TSM could be the destination

A few days ago, we talked about one of the weirdest rumors we have had during this year’s ‘Free Agency’ season. As we know, most of the teams from the North American LCS are working hard to renew their rosters and become a strong region internationally once again, and Team SoloMid appears to be taking it very seriously.

The mentioned rumor said that 2020 World Finalist Hu ‘SwordArt‘ Shuo-Chieh, one of the best players in the world right now, and the one who led Suning through the last World Championship until the big finals, could join TSM for the upcoming 2021 LCS Season.

Apparently, both the team and the player were interested in this transfer to happen, but there was a problem with some immigration stuff that could frustrate the signing.

Nevertheless, the rumor didn’t stop there and kept getting stronger instead. Today it has become more true than ever after Suning Gaming officially said goodbye to the Taiwanese Support.

After two years of wearing Lion’s jersey, SwordArt parts ways with the LPL team.

Despite there is no official confirmation, it looks like TSM is the chosen destination, and both parties are working to avoid the immigration issues.

The flux comes as TSM are struggling to nail down former Suning support SwordArt, who they were close to a deal with but may fall apart due to immigration and payment issues, per sources.
