T1 add their two stand-in players to their active roster

Nearly two months ago we saw T1,
the South Korean Dota 2 organisation, remove two players from their active
roster and replace them with two stand-ins who have now been added to the squad
permanently.

On March 16th, 2020, T1 removed
both Dominik ‘Black^’ Reitmeier and Yixuan ‘xuan’ Guo from their roster, shortly
before they were set to take part in the Beyond the Summit Pro Series Southeast
Asia. Instead the team opted to utilise Galvin ‘Meracle’ Kang Jian Wen and
Wilson ‘Poloson’ Koh Chin Wei as stand-ins – which unfortunately still saw them
being eliminated in the group stages. However, this did not faze them as they
would still look forward to ESL One Birmingham 2020 Online SEA qualifier with
their stand-ins.

Although the team were eliminated
from the ESL One Birmingham Online qualifiers on Sunday, they have gone ahead
to announce that their two stand-ins would become full-time members of the
roster. The full T1 roster is as follows:

  • Galvin ‘Meracle’ Kang Jian Wen
  • Muhamma ‘inYourdreaM’ Rizky
  • Lee ‘Forev’ Sang-don
  • Tri ‘Jhocam’ Kuncoro
  • Wilson ‘Poloson’ Koh Chin Wei

While the T1 team are out of the
running for the ESL One event, they are participating in two ongoing
tournaments: Hephaestus Cup and Cyber.bet Cup Spring Series SEA – and will also
be playing in the SEA Dota Invitational which kicks off from May 16th.
It will be interesting to see if they finally manage to find their footing with
their new players or if more changes are to be seen in the future.
