7 Stages We Would Like To See In MultiVersus

MultiVersus has a handful of stages available during gameplay that are a diverse representation of the playable characters. Each one is colorful and dynamic, full of little Easter eggs to notable characters from Warner Brothers’ properties. When paired with the solid soundtrack curated for the game, it makes for a fun and energetic battle.

Of course, as with any game of the fighting nature, it’s hard not to want more variety in the background. Being able to throw Batman through the Adventure Time Tree Fort is great, but after a few dozen times, it’s only natural to want to toss him through something else.

7 Iron Throne Room

Arya Stark is a playable fighter in MultiVersus, but she doesn’t have her own designated stage to fight in. Batman has his Batcave, and Finn and Jake the Dog have their fort, so it’s only fair that Arya brings something from the Game of Thrones world with her.

Though there are plenty of options from GoT for a stage – Winterfell or even the Moon Door at the High Hall of the Eyrie – there are very few scenes as recognizable in pop culture as the Iron Throne. Besides, as the last few episodes of the series show, destroying the Great Hall can be quite cathartic.

6 Arkham Asylum

Although Batman is already represented, Harley Quinn needs a stage from Gotham that fits her for battle. Throughout her long history in the DC Universe, Harley has been a doctor and patient at Arkham, giving her a unique attachment no one else has to the hospital.

Using Arkham for a stage also allows for variants like the Tree Fort and the Sky Arena already have – you can have an outer view of the hospital, an individual ward or room, or even the Control Room – which has been featured in other games.

5 Themyscira

The E.D.G.E. stage that Players First Games created by blending together bits of all of the characters’ worlds features the statue of Wonder Woman from Themyscira, but the land of Diana Prince can offer so much more. The island is portrayed as a utopia of animals and forests, and flowing water.

Giving Wonder Woman a stage designed after her home could mean having a lush forest to fight in – which could also be reminiscent of stages from other fighting games like Mortal Kombat. MultiVersus could also use the arena from Themyscira where the warriors do their training and compete to be the top heroine, though this could be too similar to the Sky Arena.

4 Princess Bubblegum’s Castle

Adventure Time already has two versions of the Tree Fort as stages, but that shouldn’t hinder developers from adding the overly cutesy Princess Bubblegum’s Castle. Also known as Candy Castle, there are so many options for stages with this scenery.

There could be a general outside stage with the castle and fluffy pink trees surrounding it visible or a stage from inside where you can break candy cane furniture with Iron Giant. Either way, the bright colors and exuberant atmosphere of the castle would make for an absurd place to fight, as well as a truly exciting place to fight in.

3 The Woods

There are quite a few classic Looney Tunes characters in MultiVersus, but no stages that capture their universe. Bugs Bunny is iconic, and one of the most common scenes that come to mind from the cartoons is The Woods where he gets up to shenanigans with Daffy Duck and Elmer Fudd.

This stage could have the hole in the ground that Bugs pops out of as a trap door to knock your opponent through (like Scooby’s Haunted Mansion), as well as the Duck Season and Rabbit Season signs on trees.

2 Jerry’s Hole In The Wall

This stage would require a bit more suspension of disbelief, obviously, but having Jerry’s hole in the wall would offer a fun place to fight while giving Jerry his home. In the cartoons, we see Jerry has a pretty luxurious living space hidden in the wall of Tom’s owner’s home, complete with a TV, a comfy chair, and a bed.

All of his furniture would make an interesting backdrop for a fight, as well as plenty of crashable and breakable items for tossing opponents like Shaggy or Taz through.

1 Basketball Court

Bugs Bunny and Taz are both classic cartoon characters, but they’re also skilled ball players in Space Jam. Since MultiVersus also has LeBron James from the most recent Space Jam film, it only makes sense to give these guys a backboard to free throw Superman through.

Making a stage out of a basketball court could give a wide-open area for fighting, as well as allow for hype music and funny Easter eggs from the movies or Lebron’s actual basketball career. It would also be a useful stage if MultiVersus adds any other Looney Tunes characters to the roster down the line – like Marvin the Martian or Lola Bunny, for example.
