Activision has introduced the sixth season for Call of Duty: Warzone and Modern Warfare, which finally allows access to the Verdansk underground subway system. Although players have always been able to get to the location, the doors have always been boarded up. Now, the train can now be used as a fast travel system inside the safe zone of the map. Since the release of the new season, however, players have reported several instances of game crashes. Activision has issued a statement that a patch is on the way.
Two new weapons have also been added to both games: the SP-R 208, which harkens back to the R700 from the original Modern Warfare, and the AS-Val suppressed assault rifle. Two new operators have also been introduced, Farah, originally seen in Modern Warfare’s campaign, and Nikolai, a character from Call of Duty 4. Lastly, new game modes like Armored Royale that focus on each team defending a weaponized and armored cargo truck, are playable alongside autumnal and Halloween-themed events throughout the season.
The Call of Duty: Warzone and Modern Warfare Season 6 update is available now for 1000 in-game COD Points (about $10 USD)
