Assassin's Creed 2 is riddled with puzzles and riddles galore. One of the most notable is the glyphs littered about the map from Venice to Tuscany, accessible only through Eagle Vision.

With a grand total of 20 glyphs to find throughout your journey, it could be a daunting task, especially with the challenging puzzles that come after. But to unlock 'The Truth', you have to find and solve all of them through the glyphs Clay Kaczmarek left behind in his wake. So if you find yourself in a bit of a tough spot, this guide is here to lend a helping hand.

Florence: San Marco District Glyph Location And Solutions

Tips
1 Located on the northern wall on the roof of Santa Croce.
2 Found on the highest roof of La Rosa Colta.
3 On the southern side of the Ospedale Degli Innocenti's roof.

Puzzle 1

The core theme is the Apple of Eden, so pick the ones depicting apples. These are:

  • Row 1: Image 3, Image 5
  • Row 2: Image 1, Image 2, Image 4

Puzzle 2

A series of mismatched, rotating puzzles is your next challenge. The centre of the puzzle is already correct, so simply rotate the other puzzle pieces to make this image above. For all the puzzles in Puzzle 2, it's best to start from the smallest ring outward.

By matching the centre piece of the puzzle, rotate the puzzle pieces in order to make this image above.

Once more, rotate the puzzle pieces to make this image above.

Puzzle 3

In the next series of pictures, you need to find the Pieces of Eden in each one. You will find the Piece by the middle guy's feet.

Beneath Houdini's and the man on the right-hand side's hands, you will find the Piece of Eden.

Zoom in to the mid-point of Gandhi's left arm, and you will find the Piece of Eden.

4 Found northeast of San Lorenzo's Church at the foot of a bell tower.
5 Found northeast of Mercato Vecchio by the side of a protruding window, near the archway.

Puzzle 4

Another series of pictures, but this time, you have to solve a riddle for each to proceed to the next image. For this first picture, the answer is to zoom in on the mouth of the soldier's bazooka.

To answer the second riddle, zoom in on the soldier's helmet as seen in the image above.

For the third riddle, zoom in on the far end of the first line of soldiers to find the next picture.

To find the answer to the final picture, zoom in on the demon on the upper right-hand side's outstretched hand.

Puzzle 5

Similar to Puzzle 1, the theme now is about swords. The images are:

  • Row 1: Image 2, Image 3
  • Row 2: Image 1, Image 3, Image 4

In this case, pick the images with a staff. Choose the images:

  • Row 1: Image 3
  • Row 2: Image 1, Image 3, Image 4, Image 5

Puzzle 6

Despite being another rotating puzzle, the first picture's three outer rings move together alternately, so it gets a bit tricky. After aligning the two inner rings, move the outermost ring so that the tips of the fingers align with the arm. Then make sure the second outermost ring line up with the fingers before moving to the final ring.

Counting from the centre of the circle, the third and fifth rings move together. Match the rest of the rings before doing the fifth ring first and moving on to the third ring.

Again, the third and fifth rings move together. Do the rest of the rings first, before matching the fifth ring and then the third ring.

For this last puzzle, it's better to start from the outside, before moving into the innermost ring to get the image above.

Tuscany: San Gimignano Glyph Locations And Solutions

Tips
7 Run down toward the end of the cloister hallway on the left-hand side of the Santa Maria Assunta.
8 Located in the gap between the towers at Torri Dei Salvucci, on the left wall.
9 Climb up to the highest point of the Torre Dei Diavolo.

Puzzle 7

For this image-choosing puzzle, pick these images:

  • Row 1: Image 1, Image 2, Image 3, Image 5
  • Row 2: Image 1

To find the Piece of Eden, zoom in to the lower right-hand side of the image below Jesus's hip.

Puzzle 8

First, you have to find the Piece of Eden from two pictures. Zoom midway into the staff he's holding, and you will find the Piece of Eden.

Zoom into the hilt of her sword, and you will find the Piece of Eden.

For this puzzle, match the fire symbol with Joan of Arc's picture. Next, match Rasputin's picture to the last remaining image, and you have solved the puzzle.

Puzzle 9

It's another hunt for the Piece of Eden. For this image, zoom in to the left side beneath the lapels of the man's coat.

You can find the Piece of Eden by zooming in on Gandhi's collarbone.

Now you would have to crack a code. Since 6=1, then move the red wheel to align 6 with the 1 in the grey wheel. You will get the code 312 to input.

Tuscany: Countryside Glyph Locations And Solutions

Tips
10 At the base of the tallest tower in Monte Olivetto Maggiore.
11 In the tunnel of Antico Teatro Romano, left wall.

Puzzle 10

To get to the next stage of the puzzle, you can find the eagle on the lower left side of the image. Once you do, there'll be a blinking red dot that you must click to go to the next puzzle.

To solve this wheel puzzle, follow these directions:

  1. Second outermost ring to the LEFT four times.
  2. Turn the next ring after that to the LEFT five times.
  3. Turn the conjoined pieces to the RIGHT three times.
  4. Outermost ring to the RIGHT six times.
  5. Innermost ring to the LEFT four times.

Move the cursor along with the beeping noises, zooming in on the lower part of the image by the astronaut's left foot.

Puzzle 11

The first step is easy enough since all you have to do is light up all the light bulbs. Then, the next step appears.

To find the next picture, move your cursor to the area between the windows of the protruding roof.

Turn the infrared on, before moving the cursor to the man's hands.

Romagna: Forli Glyph Locations And Solutions

Tips
12 Climb up the tower of Avamposto Veneziano and move to the wall facing the sea, the glyph is on the topmost section.
13 Above one of the archways to the right of the tower of Abbazia di San Mercuriale's courtyard.

Puzzle 12

You will have to unlock the code to a couple of files. In this case, 4=1, where the four is in the grey wheel. You will get the code 240 as a result.

Next, it's easy. This time, just turn off all the light bulbs.

For this code, 2 equals two tallies and two dots. Align the code wheel, and you'll get the symbols above.

Puzzle 13

In this case, 9 equals a triangle symbol. Align the code wheel, and you'll get the sequence above.

Next, click the red button. After watching a short clip, you'll be presented with this paper. Move the cursor to the bottom, near the midpoint of the paper to find the code.

Yet another image-choosing puzzle, choose these pictures:

  • Row 1: Image 1, Image 4
  • Row 2: Image 1, Image 2, Image 5

Puzzle 15

To solve this rotating puzzle, follow these directions:

  1. Turn the second outermost ring LEFT five times.
  2. Turn the third ring RIGHT twice.
  3. Turn the fourth ring RIGHT five times.
  4. Turn the second ring LEFT twice.
  5. Turn the first ring LEFT once.

Finally, just click on all the red dots, and you'll unlock the file.

Puzzle 16

The simplest puzzle thus far, just move the cursor to Tunguska.

Then move the cursor to Tesla's picture, and you're done.

17 Located on the rooftop of the Torre dell'Orologio.
18 Across the Torre dell'Orologio, climb up to the rooftop of the Campanile di San Marco.

Puzzle 17

To crack this code, four equals the symbol in the red square above. Once you align the wheel, the sequence of symbols is just as above.

In this image, you have to find the Assassin symbol. You'll find the latter on the back building, beneath the roof's edge.

Puzzle 18

This puzzle starts with a code, where 5 equals the symbol boxed in red above. Align the wheel, and you'll get the symbol sequence above.

Lastly, simply click on all the synapses and turn them blue.

Venice: Castello District Glyph Locations And Solutions

Tips
19 Behind the arch of the roof of Scuola Grande di San Marco's white building.
20 Found on the eastern side of the roof of the San Pietro di Castello.

Puzzle 19

Starting with another image puzzle, choose the following:

  • Row 1: Image 2, Image 3, Image 5
  • Row 2: Image 3, Image 4

In this last round, you have to find the Earth in this image. Move your cursor to the lower-left from the centre of the sun.

Puzzle 20

For this final rotation puzzle, follow these directions:

  1. Turn the outermost ring LEFT twice.
  2. Turn the second innermost ring RIGHT five times.
  3. Turn the second outermost ring LEFT twice.
  4. Turn the third ring RIGHT twice.
  5. Turn the innermost ring LEFT thrice.

As the riddle is 'Open Your Eyes', move your cursor to the eye at the centre of the top of the image.

Interestingly, for this code, you can input any sequence of symbols you like.

In this last puzzle, simply use the cursor to straighten out the skeleton.
