An essential step to keeping your islands running smoothly in Before We Leave is peep happiness. Happy peeps will work efficiently, while unhappy peeps can work up to twice as slow. With your resources spread across several islands and planets, it may be hard to maintain happiness across your entire population.
In this guide, we are going to go over everything you need to know about peep happiness, including every way you can raise it. At the start of the game, you will not have to worry about peep happiness as much. As the population grows though, peeps will start to have certain expectations. First, let's take a quick look at where you can find the happiness of your peeps.
Where To Find Happiness Levels
There are two ways to check on the happiness of your peeps. First, you can click directly on a peep and check out their happiness levels on the lower righthand side of the screen. Here, you will see a graph of the peep's happiness since they first started living on the surface, as well as information as to what is influencing their happiness.
You will also be able to check the happiness of all your peeps per island from the menu at the very top of the screen. By clicking on the island number, a menu will appear with all the stats of the island that you are currently on. Switching over to the peep panel will display the happiness of each peep on the island, allowing you to look at overall happiness levels.
