Microsoft has released its latest Free Play Days deal, and it includes a top new title for Xbox One and Xbox Series X.
As part of the new bundle, Xbox subscribers can download and play Chivalry 2, Trailmakers, and Black Desert.
But the one game that isn’t on Xbox Game Pass right now of the group is Chivalry 2, and it’s not a game you should miss out on.
Chiv2 is a giant Medieval battle simulator where you choose to play the role of one of several foot soldiers.
Storming castles and pillaging town is the name of the game or, depending on what team you end up on, defending different POIs until you whittle down the other team’s numbers.
Dominating the 64-player level isn’t easy and usually relies on your teammates to back you up, with the official game description explaining:
“A revamped, faster and more fluid combat system offers an expanded range of creative choices, allowing players to perfect their playstyle. Immersive sound and effects ensure every blow lands with the sickening thud of steel sinking into bone.
“Chivalry 2 is a 64-player medieval first-person slasher inspired by epic battle scenes from film and television. Its mix of over the top action and deeply satisfying swordplay has made it one of the most celebrated multiplayer games this year.
“Equip your soldier with the finest armaments, and storm into battle with a variety of maps and modes from sprawling sandboxes to close quarters gladiator arenas.
“Catapults tear the earth apart as players lay siege to castles, set fire to villages and slaughter filthy peasants in the return of grand Team Objective maps.”
To download one of these new games on console, Xbox subscribers can click on the Subscriptions tab in the Xbox Store and enter the Gold member area to locate the Free Play Days collection on your Xbox One or Xbox Series X.

And anyone bored with the most recent lineup of Xbox games should know that Microsoft just added the Halo Infinite Campaign to Xbox Game Pass.
This doesn’t include co-op support at this time but the rest of the experience is included in the XGP Day One bundle.
And like other first-party exclusives, there is no end date for when Halo Infinite will be removed.
