The new Call of Duty game will be revealed in full later this week. Coming to PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and PC, Modern Warfare 3 will launch on November 10. New details and gameplay footage will be unveiled as part of the Shadow Siege in-game Warzone event on August 17. If you’re unable to join the event, or perhaps you simply can’t wait, lots of Modern Warfare 3 details appear to have leaked ahead of schedule.
According to @el_bobberto (via CharlieIntel), the new Modern Warfare will feature remastered versions of the maps contained within the original Modern Warfare 2 from 2009.
This includes Afghan, Derail, Estate, Favela, Highrise, Invasion, Karachi, Quarry, Rundown, Rust, Scrapyard, Skidrow, Sub Base, Terminal, Underpass, and Wasteland.
Elsewhere, Modern Warfare 3 players will have 150 HP in multiplayer, as well as a regenerating tactical sprint ability.
Perhaps most exciting of all, however, is that red dots on the mini map for unsuppressed weapon fire will make a return.
The only bad news is that according to Activision Blizzard, Modern Warfare 3 is classed as a premium release, which means it will launch with a $70 price point.
Activision Blizzard will also use the event to announce beta test dates for PlayStation, Xbox and PC.
A recent promotional post suggests the Modern Warfare 3 beta will come to PlayStation consoles five days earlier than other platforms.

It’s believed the Call of Duty multiplayer test will run on PS5 and PS4 from October 6 until October 10, followed by a second beta for all platform beginning on October 12 and ending on October 16.
Based on previous beta tests, pre-order customers are likely to get early access to the beta, which will open up to all fans later on.
Call of Duty beta tests typically contain a handful of multiplayer modes and maps, not to mention exclusive rewards only available by trying the game early.
Speaking of rewards, fans who play the Modern Warfare 3 reveal event will receive a selection of bonuses for Warzone and Modern Warfare 2.
The includes the Konni Group emblem, the Tier Skip Battle Token, the Crimson Sound Calling Card, the Serpent Slayer Vehicle Skin, the Gas Canister Charm and the ARM13C weapon.
