- Ask Headmistress Midra For The Truth
- Don’t Say Anything
This is it – this is the last multiple-choice decision you will have to make in Death end re;Quest 2. You’ve successfully avoided death time, and time again, and now, you face the final test. Headmistress Midra. She’s clearly evil, but is now the time to tackle her?
You face Midra in a room filled with so much blood the air reeks of rust. The writing is quite literally on the wall, and everyone can see that the Headmistress is quite the devil. During this sanguinary encounter, you have two options – to confront the Headmistress or to keep your mouth shut…for now.
Ask Headmistress Midra For The Truth
Confronting a mass murderer at the scene of the crime when she has lackeys on speed dial, is not the best idea. Naturally, demanding the truth from her immediately will not end well, and sure enough, you die.
Rottie and Liliana are escorted off the premises and Mai is forcibly tied to a table. A horde of cultists comes barreling in, and things go from bad to worse. Let’s just say it involves a big axe and an abrupt Game Over.
Well done, you’ve landed the last of the secret Bad endings. Enjoy the artwork. Upon decapitation, you are given the choice to return to your previous decision.
Don’t Say Anything
Sometimes, not saying anything is the best course of action. This rang true last time, and it rings true now. Keeping quiet is the true answer, and will lead you down the path to the final chapters. You get a little nip on the arm for your troubles, but your bonce is still attached to your head – a noticeable upgrade.
As this is the last decision to be made, you can just ride the rollercoaster to the conclusion. And what a conclusion it is. Although, 'conclusion' may be a bit of a stretch. This may be your last headscratcher on this playthrough, but Death end re;Quest 2 has quite the New Game Plus to play through – if you dare.
In the end, this is nothing Mai and friends can’t handle, so buckle up and prepare for some interesting revelations.
