The release time is 1am UK time that day.

Death Stranding first released on the PS4 in 2019 and was one of the most high-profile PlayStation exclusives in the last generation.

Death Stranding: PlayStation release trailer for game

Express.co.uk reviewed Death Stranding when it came out and called it one of Hideo Kojima’s best games.

In our five out of five star review we said: “In the same way that MGS was a defining PS1 game, Death Stranding will be remembered as one of the most remarkable games of the PS4 era.

“It marks a new high point in cinematic gaming, a benchmark that all titles going forward will be measured against.

“Not only that, but it’s one of the best games Hideo Kojima has ever made – and ranks up there with his finest work.

“Death Stranding had a huge amount of hype surrounding it. And, somehow, it managed not only to live up to that but exceed it.”

The reveal of Death Stranding for PC Game Pass comes after Microsoft announced that Hideo Kojima’s next game will be coming to Xbox.

This news was revealed during the recent Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase with Kojima-san making an appearance at the June stream.

And we could get out first look at this mysterious project at Gamescom Opening Night Live next week.

ONL is taking place on Tuesday and in the run-up to this Kojima took to Twitter to reveal he had finished editing something, which could be the trailer for his next game.

It’s believed his next game will be a survival horror that’s called Overdose.
