Destiny 2's fourth set of Seasonal Challenges for Season of the Seraph are now live, giving players a new set of Triumphs to complete for tons of XP and Bright Dust. This week's challenges are quite easy, requiring you to play core activities and land precision final blows with Scout Rifles.

If you've been actively playing this season, you might have some of these challenges finished already. Complete all challenges this season, and you'll receive a large bundle of Bright Dust and more than enough XP to complete your entire Season Pass. This guide will cover all challenges released this week, their rewards, and how best to complete them.

One challenge is hidden on the API and is missing from this guide. We'll add it in a future update.

More Than A Weapon IV

More Than a Weapon IV: Complete Week 4 of "More Than a Weapon."

Rewards

  • Exo Frame Module
  • 12,500 XP

"More Than a Weapon" is this season's main quest, obtained when you completed the intro quest at the start of Season of the Seraph. Visit the Exo Frame at the H.E.L.M. and complete the listed objectives to finish this Seasonal Challenge.

Entropic Shock

Entropic Shock: Defeat combatants with Arc or Void damage in Heist Battlegrounds.

Reward

  • 25,000 XP

You'll need to defeat 150 combatants in Heist Battlegrounds with either Arc or Void damage for this challenge. Any source of Void or Arc damage will count here, so weapons, abilities, and Supers will all contribute progress. Just equip your favorite Arc/Void Primary and subclass to get this done quickly. As for the fastest way of getting this done:

  • Voltshot Weapons: Any Arc weapon with Voltshot can shred through adds with little issue.
  • Hunters: Play Nightstalker and use Gyrfalcon's Hauberk. You'll have constant Volatile Rounds on your Void weapon, making it quite easy to clear out whole rooms worth of enemies.
  • Titans: Striker Titan works best here. Spec for Storm Grenades and Touch of Thunder. With Heart of Inmost Light and the right mods, you'll be able to spam grenades every few seconds.
  • Warlocks: Voidwalker works best here. Spec for grenades and Echo of Persistence to have constant Volatile Rounds.

Seasonal Shaping

Seasonal Shaping: Unlock the Pattern for any Seasonal or IKELOS v1.0.3 weapon.

Reward

  • 25,000 XP

This challenge is retroactive.

This week allows you to access most red border upgrades from the Exo Frame. If you don't have a seasonal weapon that's craftable yet, we recommend focusing on an IKELOS pattern instead. Use the Enhanced Resonance Amp in your inventory (not your Quest tab) to detect a Resonate Stem on a destination. They're floating diamonds that have the Warmind insignia on them. Opening a stem has a high chance of dropping a red border IKELOS weapon. Keep unlocking these Resonate Stems until you have a craftable IKELOS weapon.

Mod Collector

Mod Collector: Unlock artifact mods.

Rewards

  • 50,000 XP
  • 150 Bright Dust

This challenge is retroactive.

Mod Collector requires you to unlock 12 mods from the seasonal Artifact, achieved by earning XP throughout the season. If you've been playing somewhat actively this should be automatically completed. For those pressed for time, we recommend completing other Seasonal Challenges and vendor bounties to quickly rack up some XP. This is the most optimal method of earning XP, progressing your Artifact as quickly as possible.

If you didn't receive retroactive credit, reset your Artifact (done through the Artifact menu) and select 12 mods to finish this challenge. This should cost a small sum of Glimmer.

Precision Calibration

Precision Calibration: Calibrate marksman weapons—Scout Rifles, Sniper Rifles, and Linear Fusion Rifles—by landing precision final blows. Bonus progress against Guardians.

Rewards

  • 25,000 XP
  • 75 Bright Dust

Precision Calibration requires you to land 200 precision final blows with long-range weapons. Your best bet is to equip a Scout Rifle and farm Lost Sectors on Europa or Savathun's Throne World. Dead Man's Tale is a great pick for this, as Season of the Seraph updated this gun to make headshots in hip-fire much more consistent. It also deals great damage against majors. Linear Fusion Rifles are also great for killing bosses quickly.

High-Value Hunter

High-Value Hunter: Defeat powerful combatants in Gambit. Earn bonus progress for defeating high-value targets.

Rewards

  • 50,000 XP
  • 150 Bright Dust

Powerful combatants refer to orange and yellow bars found throughout your Gambit match. HVTs, Primeval Envoys, the Primeval itself, and enemy Guardians all count toward this challenge. The API states you'll need to defeat 75 powerful combatants for this challenge, although the actual requirement is far lower since almost every orange/yellow bar gives more progress. Focus on killing blockers and Envoys, and you should have this challenge finished in a few games.

Momentum Crash

Momentum Crash: Defeat Guardians in Momentum Control. Earn bonus progress for Zone Advantage.

Rewards

  • 25,000 XP
  • 75 Bright Dust

Momentum Control is a weekly rotating playlist in the Crucible, limiting ability usage while upping the lethality of your weapons. Your goal is to defeat 50 Guardians in this playlist, earning double progress if you have Zone Advantage (two objectives captured). Equip your favorite Scout Rifle or Bow and have fun. Momentum Control is much more fast-paced than traditional PvP due to a shorter TTK, so focus on having fun over topping the scoreboard.

Darkest Nightfall

Darkest Nightfall: Complete any Nightfall strike on Hero difficulty or higher.

Rewards

  • Nightfall Weapon
  • 25,000 XP
  • 75 Bright Dust

Complete three Hero-tier Nightfalls to finish this challenge. Hero has matchmaking enabled while higher difficulties do not. Pick your preferred difficulty setting and get to farming. This shouldn't take you more than an hour to finish.
