Destiny 2: The Witch Queen introduced two new types of collectibles: Lucent Moths and Darkness Rifts. Darkness Rifts are tied to the Parasite Exotic Grenade Launcher, requiring you to damage yourself with that weapon before you can break them.
There are ten Darkness Rifts you can find in Savathun's Throne World, each contributing to a Triumph tied to the Gumshoe title. For those chasing titles or love hunting collectibles, here are all ten Darkness Rift locations in Destiny 2's Witch Queen expansion.
You must use the Parasite Exotic Grenade Launcher to break Darkness Rifts.
Darkness Rift #1: Florescent Canal
Make your way to the eastern end of Florescent Canal, just south of the entrance to the Court of Thorns. You'll find the Darkness Rift floating behind a short tower.

Darkness Rift #2: Court Of Thorns
Continue heading east in Florescent Canal to reach the Court of Thorns. Run to the end of this bridge and look directly up. The curved edges on the platforms far above you are housing a Rift. The image gallery above shows exactly where you need to aim. Alternatively, boot up The Ritual campaign mission and make it to this part of the level.

Darkness Rift #3: Queen's Bailey
The Queen's Bailey is an instanced location found northeast of the Florescent Canal. Hop on your Sparrow and head to the area showcased in the image gallery above. You'll find the Darkness Rift floating above multiple Hive statues to your left upon entering.

Darkness Rift #4: Sepulcher Lost Sector
Enter the Sepulcher Lost Sector in Florescent Canal and clear it out. At the very end of the Lost Sector, turn your head slightly to the left of the Lost Sector chest to find a Rift tucked away in a corner.

Darkness Rift #5: Miasma
Head to the western edge of Miasma, the same location where Vow of the Disciple starts. Defeat the Lucent Lightbearers here, then head to the Darkness cube on the right-hand side of the area to find the Darkness Rift.

Darkness Rift #6: Metamorphosis Lost Sector
Enter the Metamorphosis Lost Sector in Miasma. When you reach the Lost Sector chest, shoot yourself with Parasite before using the gravity lift. At the apex of the lift will be a Rift you can briefly shoot. Should you miss it, you'll need to run back to the exit and try again.

Darkness Rift #7: Quagmire
Head to the southeast corner of Quagmire. You'll find a cube-shaped building with multiple doorways and an open ceiling. Look towards the ceiling to find the Darkness Rift.

Look atop the doorframe that leads to this Lost Sector's exit to find the Darkness Rift. You'll find Extraction inside the Quagmire.

Darkness Rift #9: Temple Of The Cunning
Reaching the Temple of the Cunning can be quite confusing if you aren't familiar with the layout of Savathun's Throne World. Here's a quick breakdown of how to get here:
- Head to the northern end of Quagmire. Follow the depressed terrain into a cave.
- Make your way through the spore-filled tunnels until you reach a room filled with Scorn.
- Take the portal at the end of the room.
- Keep running straight, following the path for the next few rooms (shown above).
The very end of the path will take you to the Temple of the Cunning. From here, you'll need to backtrack to the escape path you took during The Cunning campaign mission. Right above a Deepsight Orb will be the Darkness Rift you're looking for.

Darkness Rift #10: Altar Of Reflection
Complete an Altar of Reflection activity. At the very end when you're viewing the memory of Savathun, look left of the memory plate to find a floating Darkness Rift in the distance.
