Dying Light 2: Stay Human's DLC has been revealed at Gamescom. Bloody Ties will be available for free to anyone who owns the game from October 13, 2022, and it appears the collosseum leak was accurate.
Stay Human's Bloody Ties trailer did what the leak was unable to do, though. Show players inside of the collosseum in which they will be battling for their lives. Don't let the fancy setting fool you, though. There are any number of people, zombies, and massive monsters waiting to tear you apart inside, seemingly for the amusement of others.
If the previous leak is anything to go by, a mysterious group, presumably led by the woman narrating the trailer, will be taking you to the collosseum to compete against anything and everything you can see in the trailer below. It isn't merely the multi-person add-on it appears to be on the surface, though. There will apparently be additional story attached, and there will be more DLC to come. Bloody Ties will kick off the roadmap though, and it will be available from October 13, 2022.
While this might be the first DLC revealed for Dying Light 2 since it launched six months ago, it definitely won't be the last. Techland has already revealed it has a five-year roadmap for the sequel's content, and the best part is all of it will be free if you already own the game. The studio is clearly aiming to replicate the success of the first Dying Light. So far, go good in that regard as Stay Human sold five million copies in its first two months.
Those numbers are even more impressive when you consider Dying Light 2's competition. Last February was one of the busiest month's in recent video game history as Horizon: Forbidden West and Elden Ring also launched at around the same time. If you're brave enough to go up against Elden Ring and find success, then your game must be doing something right.
