FIFA may have ended its association with the EA Sports gaming brand but UEFA hasn’t.
Electronic Arts has revealed that next summer it’s current Playstation 5 and Xbox title FC24 will add a free in-game upgrade to celebrate the Euros.
As a result, all the famous footballers you know and love will be able to battle it out on the field in the UEFA Euro 2024 mode.
It’ll be released alongside the real-life tournament in Germany and feature the likes of England’s Jack Grealish and Spain’s Alvaro Morata in their international colours.
And fans who play FC24 by January 16, 2024 will be granted one of Europe’s biggest stars as an exclusive, untradeable Ultimate Team Player in their online squad.

“UEFA Euro 2024 is one of the world’s most vibrant and exciting football tournaments, and we’re thrilled that the huge EA Sports FC 24 community across the globe will get the chance to engage with the tournament in such an authentic gaming environment.
“We also look forward, in coming weeks, to unveiling further details around the eEURO competitive gaming tournament.”
EA Sports will be the official platform for UEFA’s official eEURO esports program, an all new tournament featuring Europe’s best FC24 players, representing UEFA national football teams.
The eEURO will be an annual tournament program featuring qualification phases leading to a live final, the first of which will be contested in the summer; with more updates on the tournament structure to be announced soon.
