Elden Ring: Where To Find All Great Grave Gloveworts

The latest in the Soulsborne stable, Elden Ring innovates in a number of outstanding ways. Taking on the extremely engaging and sometimes frustratingly difficult enemies and bosses is one of these, something which can be a daunting task alone.

To help you deal with these fearsome foes you can find Spirit Ashes, NPC summons that will aid you in combat. You can upgrade standard Spirit Ashes with Glovewort, but to reach +10 you will need Great Grave Glovewort. These are in extremely limited supply, so here's where you can find all six.

To upgrade elite Spirit Ashes, you will need Ghost Glovewort.

5 Giant-Conquering Hero's Grave

The first Great Grave Glovewort you'll likely come across is deep within the Giant-Conquering Hero's Grave. This is found by circling around the region until you come to the Giants' Gravepost Site of Grace, then heading southwest and jumping across to the plateau with the dungeon.

Once inside, follow the main path of the dungeon until you come across a troll. Jump down from the bridge in front of the troll, and defeat the Prelate enemy guarding your prize: one Great Grave Glovewort. This is one of the few Great Grave Gloveworts harvested from a plant directly, instead of it being a drop from an enemy.

4 Consecrated Snowfield Catacombs

Two Great Grave Gloveworts are found in the Consecrated Snowfield Catacombs, found hidden in the fog in the east of the Consecrated Snowfield.

The two Great Grave Gloveworts are acquired by defeating the dungeon's boss, the Putrid Grave Warden Duelist. Ironically, you can actually use a Spirit Ash during the fight. It's a good way to test your favorites, before investing the materials to upgrade them to max level.

3 Crumbling Farum Azula: Crumbling Beast Grave Depths

After the Consecrated Snowfield, you'll want to move on to Crumbling Farum Azula for the next couple of Great Grave Gloveworts. A high-level Spirit Ash is recommended here, as you'll face difficult boss fights such as the Godskin Duo. Spirit Ashes can even the odds when facing multiple bosses, especially those which summon multiple friendly NPCs.

Firstly, make your way to the Crumbling Beast Grave Depths Site of Grace. From the balcony of the room adjacent, jump onto the roof on the right. You can then make your way to the upper level of the area, where the Great Grave Glovewort is guarded by a multitude of enemies.

2 Crumbling Farum Azula: Dragon Temple

Next up in Crumbling Farum Azula, start at the Dragon Temple Site of Grace and turn around to face the platforms used to reach the Site of Grace. If you look down, you'll see a staircase you can jump onto. Be careful not to clip the platform above you as you jump, or you'll likely fall to your death.

Alternatively, you can make your way back one Site of Grace, to find a hole that drops you to the same hallway. Once down, head up the staircase on the right to find a balcony. Platform across a floating pillar on the left side to reach a ladder, then climb up to find a room that houses the Great Grave Glovewort. Beware of the skeleton enemies that will spawn immediately after you pick up the Glovewort.

1 Elphael, Brace of the Haligtree

Elphael, Brace of the Haligtree is probably the most difficult area in Elden Ring, not only due to the high density of dangerous enemies. Right after fighting your way through most of the zone, you are tasked with crossing a lake which will inflict Rot — one of the most annoying status effects. You'll then need to face an incredibly tough encounter, one in which using Spirit Ashes may do you more harm than good if they are not high level.

Near the end of this area you'll see a second rot lake, detached from the main zone. If you look to the edge, you'll find branches that lead to the area, with the Great Grave Glovewort on a body in the center. It's guarded by an Ulcerated Tree Spirit, so kill it and claim your bounty.
