Fall Guys artist reveals what’s inside a Fall Guy and it’s not pretty

Ever wondered what a Fall Guy actually was? Just assumed they were some kind of jellybean person? The truth is far more disturbing.

If you find yourself unable to sleep tonight we apologise in advance, but just remember: we didn’t draw this picture, Mediatonic’s senior concept artist did.

And, as you can see from the tweet, it is now the official explanation for what a Fall Guy looks like underneath.

Which means, from the posture, that they’re in a permeant state of pain? Are actually weird chicken people? Have a good excuse for falling down so much?

Apparently Fall Guys are 1.83 metres (6ft) tall and are always happy, so that’s a relief. And they do have mouths but only under several inches of head blubber.

It’s all too horrible to contemplate but if you visit artist Tudor Morris’ website you can see that it is actually all a big joke… probably.

What isn’t a joke is how popular Fall Guys has become since its August debut as a free PlayStation 4 game on PS Plus.

It instantly proved a hit on PC as well though, where you always had to pay for it, and now seems likely to appear on Nintendo Switch and Xbox as well – although there’s still no official date or confirmation.

Mediatonic are currently busy getting Season 2 ready for next month though (6 October to be precise) so we might hear a bit more after that.
