After a series of fake ads, Fall Guys will actually release on mobile in China, and could arrive on Switch too following some datamining.
With Fall Guys exploding in popularity on PlayStation 4 and PC, other platform owners are feeling incredibly left out.
Mobile owners were recently subjected to a scam that the game could be played on smartphones, which developer Mediatonic was quick to warn everyone about.
However, an actual mobile version is in development now. Unfortunately, it’s only going to be available in China.
Some fans are also further convinced that the game will release on Nintendo Switch at some point following a recent datamine.
Dataminer OatmealDome discovered a ‘NintendoSDKPlugin.dll’ file within the game’s files on Steam, which has apparently been there since the initial release and seems to indicate that the game is supported for the Switch.
OatmealDome does add that this doesn’t necessarily mean that a Switch release is happening and Mediatonic could have simply activated Switch support by accident.
At the same time, Mediatonic has suggested that Fall Guys will release on other platforms, so it coming to Switch is extremely likely at some point.
Fall Guys is currently available on PlayStation 4 and PC.
