Final Fantasy 14's fourth expansion, Endwalker, has many ways for you to earn incredibly cool things, with one of those ways coming from the new Timeworn Kumbhiraskin and Almastyskin Treasure Maps. These maps can reward you with many things, from the highly sought-after Pixie Wings to Allagan Tomestone of Aphorism.
Like the previous Treasure Maps in Final Fantasy 14, both the Timeworn Kumbhiraskin and Timeworn Almastyskin Treasure Maps are found while gathering resources as a Botanist, Fisher, or Miner. If you do not have a high-leveled Class belonging to the Disciple of Land, you can always hire one from the Market Board if you have the funds.
How To Get Timeworn Kumbhiraskin Treasure Maps
Before you can search the various regions of Endwalker for Timeworn Kumbhiraskin Treasure Maps, you must first have one of the three Disciple of Land classes to level 90 (Botanist, Fisher, or Miner). If you meet that prerequisite, you can then start gathering materials from any region in Endwalker for a chance to uncover a Treasure Map. Refer to the list below for the most popular gathering spots for each class!
- Botanist: Ultima Thule (13.5, 29.2)
- Fisher: Thavnair (23.1, 24.5) and (23.2, 25.4)
- Miner: Ultima Thule (18.6, 14.2)
If you successfully uncover a Treasure Map when gathering materials, you can then examine its contents by using the "Decipher" action on it. Once that's done, you can then head to the location of its contents, but it is highly recommended to do so with a Full Party (8 players) as you will be facing off against groups of level 90 enemies that are guarding the treasure. You can find all possible rewards for the Timeworn Kumbhiraskin Treasure Map below!
- Gil
- x10 Allagan Tomestone of Aphorism
- Materia
- Pixie Wings
- Excite-I-Mask
Additionally, whenever Endwalker's 6.05 goes live on January 4, 2022, the Timeworn Kumbhiraskin Treasure Map will also have a chance of spawning a portal upon completion. The portal will enable access to the special instance, The Excitatron 6000, which will allow you the opportunity to earn unique and priceless treasures. We will update this with more information on the Excitatron 6000 whenever it becomes available.
NOTE: You can only decipher one Treasure Map a day as it will activate an 18-hour cooldown period. Meaning, if you decipher the Kumbhiraskin Treasure Map, you cannot do an Almastyskin one until the 18 hours is up, and vice versa.
How To Get Timeworn Almastyskin Treasure Maps
Similar to the Kumbhiraskin Treasure Map, the Timeworn Almastyskin Treasure Map is also obtainable by chance from various resource deposits found around the different zones of the Endwalker expansion. However, you can obtain the contents on your own without the need for a Full Party. You will still need a level 90 Disciple of Land class (Botanist, Fisher, or Miner), though. You can find the best spots to gather resources below!
- Botanist: Ultima Thule (13.5, 29.2)
- Fisher: Thavnair (23.1, 24.5) and (23.2, 25.4)
- Miner: Ultima Thule (19.7, 10.7) and (17.4, 11.8)
After obtaining the Timeworn Almastyskin Treasure Map, you can examine its contents by selecting the "Decipher" action on it. Next, view the map to discover where the treasure is, then head to the marked location to obtain your reward. There will be enemies here, but, as mentioned before, you will not need a Full Part for this section and can do it by yourself. All possible rewards for the Timeworn Almastyskin Treasure Map are below!
- Gil
- x10 Allagan Tomestone of Aphorism
- Phonograph Plate
- Orchestrion Phonograph
It is currently unknown if the Timeworn Almastyskin Treasure map will also have a chance of granting access to a portal once Endwalker's 6.05 goes live on January 4, 2022, or if that is only available to the Kumbhiraskin Treasure Map. Furthermore, it appears that the Pixie Wings, Excite-I-Mask, and Materia are unobtainable with Almastyskin Treasure Maps.
NOTE: You can only decipher one Treasure Map a day as it will activate an 18-hour cooldown period. Meaning, if you decipher the Almastyskin Treasure Map, you cannot do a Kumbhiraskin one until the 18 hours is up, and vice versa.
