The first footage for Paramount's Halo TV show has been revealed, including our first look at Master Chief in live-action.
Paramount's Halo series has been in development for several years, but until now we haven't seen any footage from it. The trailer starts by showing a UNSC aircraft flying above a base, before showing Master Chief walking through some ruins. After that, we get to see a large city, along with what looks like Dr Halsey and Sergeant Johnson.

After this, we see several shots of soldiers running through ruins, along with a young child. We then see what looks like ODST soldiers, along with Master Chief landing on the ground with a pose that would make Deadpool proud. This gives us our best look yet at what Master Chief will look like in the show, and he's pretty faithful to the games, as you'd hope.
The trailer ends by confirming that the Halo series will start streaming in 2022 on Paramount+, although no specific date was given, which isn't too surprising considering how short the trailer was.
The description of the trailer says, "Dramatizing an epic 26th-century conflict between humanity and an alien threat known as the Covenant, Halo the series will weave deeply drawn personal stories with action, adventure and a richly imagined vision of the future. Halo the series will be streaming in 2022, exclusively on Paramount+."
