LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga – 7 Best Planets

Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is finally here and it’s without question one of the biggest games in the Lego series. There are a total of 24 different planets in the galaxy, but that’s not what makes The Skywalker Saga so massive. In the majority of these planets, each has its own sandbox-type open world to explore.

There are many different environments in the game, including those that recreate iconic locations from the films. But with 24 different planets in the game, which are the best? Let’s jump in our starship and search the galaxy far, far away for the best planets in The Skywalker Saga.

7 Mustafar

Located in the Outer Rim, the fiery planet of Mustafar served as the metaphorical birthplace of Darth Vader. Important as it is, Mustafar is a relatively small area in The Skywalker Saga. The only area to explore is the Mining Complex where Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi fought in Revenge of the Sith, but the blackened red sky looks amazing in the game.

There are three levels in the Mining Complex to explore for various Studs and 23 Kyber Bricks to search for. You can also find a few droid speeders to cruise around the complex. But because there isn’t much surface area, it’s quite easy to fall off the edge into the lava below.

6 D’Qar

While many might have complaints about the sequel trilogy, those movies did expand the galaxy and introduce new planets, including D’Qar. This lush, forested world is located in the Outer Rim in the Ileenium system and is the headquarters of the Resistance base in The Rise of Skywalker.

With only 19 Kyber Bricks, D’Qar has one of the lowest amounts of any planet in the game. However, don’t let that stop you from exploring the beautiful environment. D’Qar’s setting is similar to Endor, minus the furry warrior creatures everywhere.

5 Naboo

Home to Queen Amidala, Naboo was a largely peaceful planet until the Separatists invaded with their droid army in The Phantom Menace. There was some friction between the Naboo people on the surface and the Gungans who lived underwater, but when the Separatists invaded, the two groups put aside their differences and united to fight the common enemy.

Naboo is a unique planet in The Skywalker Saga, as you can explore both the surface of Theed and the Gungan home of Lake Paonga. The actual planet on the surface looks similar to Earth, with green foliage growing and various bodies of water. Naboo has a total of 53 Kyber Bricks between Theed and Lake Paonga, the third-highest amount of Kyber Bricks on a planet.

4 Dagobah

The swamp-laden world of Dagobah was Master Yoda’s planet of choice for his exile following his failure to stop Darth Sidious in Revenge of the Sith. Why Yoda didn’t just continue fighting the Emperor after falling to the Senate floor remains a mystery, but regardless, the Jedi Master chose this quagmire of a planet for his home.

Surprisingly, Dagobah is even smaller than Mustafar. With only 15 Kyber Bricks on the planet to find, Dagobah has the lowest amount of Kyber Bricks of any planet in the game. Although Dagobah is pretty tiny compared to every other planet, it’s home to one of the most iconic scenes of the original trilogy with Luke confronting his Dark Side and “fighting” Darth Vader.

3 Ahch-To

Among the 24 planets in The Skywalker Saga, Ahch-To is simply breathtaking. While many locations in The Skywalker Saga look very much like their movie counterparts, Ahch-To is arguably the best-looking area in the game.

The only area you can explore is Temple Island where Luke Skywalker exiled himself after the incident with Ben Solo at his new Jedi Academy. The island is fairly small with 21 Kyber Bricks to find, but the lush foliage of the island pops out on the screen. Not to mention the furry little Porgs roaming around and the Bantha that produce Luke’s blue milk.

2 Coruscant

The home of the Senate, Coruscant is arguably the most important planet featured in the prequels. And in The Skywalker Saga, the planet houses a whopping 67 Kyber Bricks, good for the second-most in the game.

There are two areas to explore on Coruscant: the Federal District and the Uscru District. The Federal District is where you’d find the Senate, while the Uscru District is mostly where the common people live. If you recall the scene in Attack of the Clones when Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi chased a would-be assassin — that’s the Uscru District.

1 Tatooine

The best planet in the game is also the most important planet in the entirety of Star Wars lore: Tatooine. The desert world was the birthplace of Anakin Skywalker, who of course, eventually became the villainous Darth Vader. Tatooine also became the childhood home of Luke Skywalker and the place Obi-Wan Kenobi chose to serve his exile, as well as keeping a close eye on Luke. Besides being an important historical location in Star Wars, Tatooine also has the largest amount of Kyber Bricks of any planet in the game, at 100.

There are three distinct areas to explore on Tatooine: Jundland Wastes, Mos Espa, and Mos Eisley. Jundland Wastes is where Luke lived, Mos Espa is where Anakin lived, and Mos Eisley is home to the Cantina where Luke and Obi-Wan found Han Solo and Chewbacca. Although Tatooine isn’t the prettiest planet in The Skywalker Saga, it has the most to offer by far and earns the title of being the best planet in the game.
