Life Is Strange: True Colors Wins Big At The 2022 Gayming Awards

The second annual Gayming Awards have wrapped and Life is Strange: True Colors has been awarded game of the year alongside two other big categories. Life is Strange: True Colors beat out Boyfriend Dungeon, Psychonauts, and Unpacking to take home the coveted title, while Alex Chen won the award for Best LGBTQ Character. Life is Strange: True Colors also took home the title for Authentic Representation, giving the game a trifecta of awards.

This year marked the second Gayming Awards but the first-ever live ceremony where the winners were announced in the Troxy Theater in London. Hosted by Julia Hardy and streamed live on both Twitch and YouTube, the hour-long ceremony doled out awards in eleven categories, including Gayming Icon, Industry Diversity, and LGBTQ Streamer of the Year.

"It was such an honor to celebrate these amazing creatives tonight," said Robin Gray, CEO and founder of Gayming Magazine. "In our second year of the awards, it was important for us to again recognize all the LGBTQ representation in-game and in the industry."
