In Lost Ark, ridding continents of monsters is pretty much your stock-in-trade. But some are more valuable to find than others – especially those needed for your Adventurer’s Tome. Remember you can always spot these monsters by the golden symbol that appears above them. But be careful, as they tend to be aggressive even if their neighbours usually aren't.
Below you’ll find a list of all the Yudia monster locations you need to find to complete your tome. We’ve listed them in alphabetical order, so you can find the ones you’re missing easily. And we’ve also added pictures and maps of the locations and monsters.
Alluring Shaman – Ozhorn Hill
Follow the path away from the entrance to Sapira Cave, going northeast through the first area and into the second. Keep to the left through this small area and you should bump into the Alluring Shaman near some cauldrons and glowing torches.
Boss Mungka – South Saland Hill
From the Rethramis Continent portal, head up past the Temporary Encampment to the Burnt Encampment. Follow the southern edge of the area as it heads east and you should come across the Boss Mungka. If you get to the southeast point where the path thins, you’ve gone too far.
Boss Paingolin Monster Location – North Saland Hill
Head east from Nomad camp and then south east through this large area. Keep near the eastern edge and walk back-and-forth north and south between the east and south exits of this area. You’ll soon come across a Boss Paingolin mixed in with the saltbugs and mungka. While you’re here, be sure to keep an eye out for the "Salt-grilled Saltbug" tome ingredient that’s also in this location.
Dirty Mucus Lump Monster Location – Sapira Cave
Work through the first part of Sapira Cave and slide down the slope. When you get to the point here where you fight the second and third Enhanced Wormfists, the second one will be grouped with the Dirty Mucus Lump. Hint: Where you defeat it, you’ll also find the "Hidden Encavian Liquor Bottle" ingredient needed for the Age-old Encavian Wine recipe.
Dirty Salt Worm Monster Location – North Saland Hill
Leave the Nomad Camp by the east exit and head into the northern salt plain by the eastern one of the two northern passageways. Head right into the eastern corner, where you’ll find a group of salt worms – one of which will be the Dirty Salt Worm. Note: Right where he spawns, you’ll also find the "Salt Worm Poop" ingredient for Worm Poop Coffee, one of Yudia’s Adventurer’s Tome recipes.
Hardshelled Saltbug Monster Location – North Saland Hill
Head out of the Nomad Camp by the west entrance and go south, hugging the western edge of this large area. You should come across a Hardshelled Saltbug just before you get to the path that heads south from the area towards Whitesand Bandit Den. If not, from the start of that southern path, head inwards and to the northeast a little.
Lonely Morai Clay Soldier Monster Location – Morai Ruins
For this one, you need to have made it past all the spike and wall traps in the Mora Ruins dungeon. The quest text should read ‘Defeat Morai Ruins Shamans’. Just before you get to the shaman, you’ll fight a mob of clay soldiers. Make sure to check out the very northeast end of the corridor. Here you’ll find the Lonely Morai Clay Soldier.
Morai Clay Shaman Chief Monster Location – Morai Ruins
Enter the Morai Ruins dungeon and move through until you get to the second water-blocking gate. After releasing it, head north to a group of huts where you’ll find a group of Morai warriors and shaman. One of them will be the Morai Clay Shaman Chief.
Old Salt Rock Turtle Monster Location – North Saland Hill
From the Nomad Camp Triport, head out of the east exit then go directly north (by the left-hand of the two paths) into the northern salt flat. At the end of the path, follow the edge of the map west into the southern corner. Here you’ll find a group of salt rock turtles, with an Old Salt Rock Turtle among them.
Reanimated Chieftain Monster Location – Ozhorn Hill
Coming from the Saland Hill portal, head northwest and then southwest into the Nevatia Ruins. Just as you enter the ruins, go left into the corner up the stairs and the down a set of stairs. At the end you’ll find two mimics and the Reanimated Chieftain.
Red-eyed Rock Demon Monster Location – Sapira Cave
After defeating Mucus Demon Mukus, follow the path until you get to the T-junction. Here, head right and climb up the wall. When the path turns north after winding east, you’ll come across the Red-eyed Rock Demon in a small group of other demons and Encavians.
Salt Desert Bandit Fighter Monster Location – South Saland Hill
Head right into the Whitesand Bandit Den towards the far western corner, ignoring all the climb points. You’ll end up going south between two structures, underneath where a beam you can walk across goes over your head (easy to see on the map between two blue arrows). The Salt Desert Bandit fighter is standing right underneath the beam.
Stinging Wallou Cactus Monster Location – Near Submerged Ruins Triport
If you start from the Submerged/Mora Ruins, go directly north into the salt flats until the area starts to open up. Stay to the right of the map, but move directly north. You should find a Stinging Wallou Cactus just to the right of the large circle on the map, which represents a large crater. You can’t miss it, as it’s brown – where all the other cactus here are white.
Strong Wormfist Monster Location – Ozhorn Hill
From the Sapira Cave Triport, head northwest into the first small area and leave it via the southeast. If you keep to the left, and follow the path north at the next junction past a few corpses, you should run into the Strong Wormfist.
Whitesand Bolchi Boss Monster Location – Ozhorn Hill
The quickest way to get the Whitesand Bolchi Boss is from the Saland Hill Portal. When you arrive, head directly northwest right into the very top corner of the first area you come to, before turning left into the ruins. At the end there’s a small passage leading through the rocks, northwest. The Whitesand Bolchi Boss spawns at the entrance to this passageway.
