Marvel’s Midnight Suns: Guide To Morality

  • Hunter Morality Balance Basics
  • Light/Dark Balance Rewards

In Marvel's Midnight Suns, you will take on the role as the Hunter, the resurrected child of the game's antagonist, Lilith. As the child of the Demon Mother, you will have the option of using the powers of dark, light, or a balance of the two to build your character.

Midnight Sun's morality system is based around Light and Dark, with a third option, Power, offering a balance between the two. Below, we'll take a look at how to change your Light and Dark points, and what the effects are of doing so.

Hunter Morality Balance Basics

The Hunter's morality system is represented by a wheel that starts at zero points. When you gain Light or Dark points, the meter will move in the corresponding direction. For example, if you have 15 Light points, then gain three Ddark points, your balance meter will shift to a total of 12 points, with Light still being favored.

There are two main ways to change your balance points. The first is by choosing corresponding dialogue options in story cutscenes. You can tell which option will increase which point by the handy icon next to the dialogue option.

The second way you can increase your Light or Dark points is by using cards of the corresponding type in combat. For example, using a certain number of Light-based cards in combat will change your total balance points when you return from the mission. After completing the main story, this will be the only way to change your Light/Dark balance, outside of starting new game+.
