In Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak, you will venture to the Elgado Outpost. With this new adventure, you'll encounter more powerful monsters, which means new materials and rewards. Additionally, several new side quests will become available as you play through Sunbreak's main story.

After completing the Tetranadon Blockade Urgent Quest, you can accept the side quest Chevalier's Sleepy Solution from Selva in Elgado. Let's take a look at how to complete this side quest, as well as what the rewards are.

Chevalier’s Sleepy Solution Side Quest

To complete this side quest, you'll need to deliver one of each of the following items.

  • x1 Torpor Sac
  • x1 Great Baggi Thickhide

Both of these materials can be obtained from Master Rank Great Baggi. Torpor Sac has a 30 percent chance to drop as a target reward from clearing the quest, 20 percent chance to drop as a break part reward from breaking the head, and a 32 percent chance to drop from carving its body.

Overall, the most efficient way to get Torpor Sac's is to break the Great Baggi's head before slaying the monster. You're likely to get at least one Torpor Sac in a hunt or two through this method.

Great Baggi Thickhide is even more common, with a 36 percent chance to obtain it from the target reward, a 41 percent chance to obtain it from capturing, a 44 percent chance to obtain it from carving the monster, and an 80 percent chance to obtain it as a dropped material.

Overall, getting a Great Baggi Thickhide is almost guaranteed after hunting this monster, so you should have no problem getting this material. After obtaining both of these materials, return to Selva in Elgado and fulfill the request.
