Elden Ring has barely been out a week, and it's hardly a traditional Souls title. It's open-world, so there are hours upon hours of content to uncover, but one fan has decided that the base experience just isn't cutting it, so they've modded it to run with a Ring Fit.
Yep – Elden Ring Fit. Get it? Super Louis 64 is a modder and a TikToker, so put both together and you get some pretty wild creations that make for entertaining viewing. The video in question sees him challenging the Bloodhound Knight in his workout clothes with a Ring Fit. And he does it.
Louis managed to actually take down one of Elden Rings' optional bosses with nothing but a Ring Fit and a glint of determination. It might get a bit tiring exploring the whole game like that, mind. You're looking at nearly 100 hours of running around, stabbing baddies, rolling around bosses like a loose can of Pepsi. But like any Souls game, there's someone out there willing to go that extra mile – it's only a matter of time.
We've seen Dark Souls beaten with Guitar Hero kits, Donkey Kong's bongos, bananas, and all other sorts of outlandish creations. Elden Ring has barely been out a week, and we've already seen a boss taken down with a Ring Fit. You can't predict the future, but that certainly paves the way for a chaotic challenge scene.
Maybe we'll see someone go toe-to-toe with Margit the Fell Omen using nothing but their feet, or take down the final boss with a fishing rod. We've seen these kinds of runs before, let alone before game-changing mods like the randomisers flood in. Elden Ring is ripe with streaming potential.
It even runs on the Steam Deck, so maybe someone can go for a jog while they explore the Lands Between, sprinting a marathon as they go from boss to boss. That sounds like hard work, but people have done weirder.
