PS Plus April 2023 free games reveal date, time, PS4 and PS5 leaks

The moment PlayStation Plus subscribers have been waiting for is almost here, as Sony gets ready to announce the full line-up of PS Plus Essentials for April 2023. If you’re keen to find out the free PS4 and PS5 games for April 2023, then the good news is that you don’t have long to wait. Sony will announce the PlayStation Plus Essentials line-up at 4.30pm BST UK time on March 29. The games will be available to download less than a week later on the morning of April 4.

Of course, if things shake out like they have over the previous few months, there’s a good chance the PlayStation Plus line-up will leak ahead of schedule.

Express Online will keep this article updated with all the latest developments, including leaks and any official announcements by Sony.

One thing we do know is that brand new release Meet Your Maker will be added to PS Plus in April.

The new game is described as a first-person building and raiding game, where the aim is to craft impenetrable Outposts for other players to overcome. You can share your Outposts online, all the while raiding other creations for rewards and inspiration.

Outposts can also be tweaked and upgraded after they’re posted online. For example, if people are breezing through specific sections, you can make them tougher by adding new obstacles and enemies.

With the other two PlayStation Plus games yet to be revealed, fans have been making predictions ahead of the Sony announcement.

Watch Dogs Legion: Build the resistance in new teaser trailer

In the latest predictions thread on Reddit, multiple PS Plus subscribers believe Kena Bridge of Spirits will join Meet Your Maker in April.

Others are convinced Nier Automata will be added to PS Plus next month, while some tip Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War to join the line-up.

Elsewhere, there are numerous predictions for Watch Dogs Legion, Crash Team Racing, Ratchet and Clank: A Rift Apart, Tunic, Cuphead and Death’s Door.

While you wait for the April line-up to be revealed, it’s worth remembering that you still have time to download the March games.

The current batch of PS Plus games include Battlefield 2042, Code Vein and Minecraft Dungeons.
