Rumble Studios released the third main area in Roblox Mining Simulator 2 during update nine, and it comes with another special mine, many new eggs, a new tool and backpack, and five new ores to mine. Atlantis is an endgame area where players can show off everything they've achieved in the game.
To access the new area, you need to upgrade the Spaceship to level three which can take a long time if you're just starting out in the game. You need to grind a ton and get much better tools and backpacks, so you can actually focus on mining the huge stacks of blocks.
Where To Find Sea Grass And Shells
After grinding for hours and acquiring the best items, Sea Grass and Shells are the first two ores that you will find within the mines of Atlantis. It's an underwater area similar to the time-limited Summer Fair island, so these two ores are essentially recolors of the ores that could be found there.
To find these ores, you simply need to dig down the mines from the surface. The developers have increased the chances to encounter an ore since they removed caves. You'll find plenty of Sea Grass and Shells until the first outpost and even below it. Sea Grass and Shells can be sold for 10,250 and 25,000 currency respectively.
When you're starting out in these mines, you'll be dealing with stacks of 12,500 blocks each, so you'll need a strong tool and inventory space from the get-go.
Where To Find Coral
The most peculiar ore in Mining Simulator 2, Coral can be easily missed if you're mining fast. There's a little branch sticking out from the bottom of the block, and it isn't as easy to notice as the other ores. You can sell a Coral for 55,000 currency.
To find this ore, you'll need to head deep into the mines and reach a depth of 430 meters. This is halfway deeper from the first outpost, and you'll be dealing with blocks stacked up to 30,000 while trying to get Coral. These are more common as you go deeper.
Where To Find Cinnabar
The second-rarest ore in Atlantis, Cinnabar can be spotted first at the depth of 650 meters. You'll start seeing this ore when you reach the second outpost, where you can also finish challenges for a cool daily reward.
This one also becomes more and more common as you go deeper, but you'll be dealing with stacks up to 45,000 blocks at the very least. This is where things start getting really hard if you don't have a good tool and backpack because of the sheer number of stacks.
You can sell Cinnabar for 250,000 currency which is multiplied depending on the pet you have. To get a multiplier on Atlantis currency while selling, you need to equip pets that can only be found in this area.
Where To Find Black Opal
The rarest and the most beautiful ore found in the Atlantis, Black Opal is one of its kind. This can be compared to Larimar with how difficult it is to find even after the increased chance of encountering ores. These can also be sold for a whopping 650,000 currency each.
Once you reach the third and final outpost, which is at the depth of 1,085 meters, you'll start seeing Black Opal as you deal with blocks stacked up to 80,000. These are the deepest levels of the mine and genuinely require endgame items to even think about going here.
In order to mine ores faster, you can equip different pets with mining boosts and enchant your tool to give it more strength, speed, and duplicate your ores to get multiple from one block.
