Saints Row's launch wasn't great. Met with a barrage of mixed reviews, the general consensus appears to be that the reboot doesn't live up to its predecessors, with a dull open world and even some pretty unfunny dialogue sprinkled throughout.
Now, it appears that the worst aspect of all could be the glitches. A week after launch, players are still sharing some hilariously immersion-breaking glitches, with performance issues plaguing everything from the vehicles, character models, and even some of the more serious missions in the game.
First up, we have this glitch documented by Reddit user HotDogStruttnFloozy. It appears that a train was flown wildly off-course, but shows no signs of stopping anytime soon – even if it has to crash through buildings and fly over rivers.
But best of all has to be this horrifically timed glitch found by HotDogStruttnFloozy. Spoiler warning for the main story, but damn, there really couldn't have been a worse time for a T-pose bug. Or a better time, depending on how you look at it.
Other than that, the usual suspects are here. Bosses seem incapable of riding motorcycles correctly, and are even finding ways to take damage when they enter a vehicle. Other than that, there are technical issues such as the PS5's adaptive triggers not working as intended, and the connection in co-op play dropping. There's a whole dedicated thread just for bugs and other issues encountered in the game, so reply with your own for the chance of seeing them fixed in a future update.
Thankfully, Volition has already confirmed that fixes are on the way. It's acknowledged that the state of the game was less than stellar at launch, and has promised that hotfixes will be rolled out over the coming weeks.
Saints Row is out now, available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Google Stadia, and PC.
