Shrek Blows Up The Brotherhood In Fan-Made Fallout 4 Edit

If you're an avid gamer and YouTube enjoyer, it 's more than likely you'll have come across the work of creator eli_handle_b.wav at some point. They're almost renowned for creating scarily realistic mash ups of popular games and movies, most recently having put Ace Ventura in Cyberpunk 2077. They were also responsible for an amazing mash up of Detroit: Become Human and Naked Gun.

Now they're back yet again, this time having Shrek take on the Commonwealth in a wonderful Fallout 4 edit. If you're unaware of the concept, the video takes our lovable green ogre from several scenes across all of the Shrek films and splices them masterfully into conversations with certain characters in Fallout 4. For example, there's a great bit where Shrek manages to blow up the Brotherhood of Steel and the Prydwen with a bottle of champagne.

Shrek also manages to display something that pretty much everyone who's played Fallout 4 for more than a handful of hours has as well, that being an utter loathing for Preston Garvey. There's even a moment which perfectly encapsulates Fallout 4 as an experience, as Shrek runs a shop (with a very clever sign that reads "stogre" above his head) while Preston Garvey does bench presses nearby and a random settler bobs up and down in the background while trying to walk.

If you're a fan of eli_handle_b.wav's work, you can check out their YouTube channel in which you'll find plenty of similarly ridiculous videos. There's one that places Kermit the Frog in several important scenes in Half-Life 2, while another has Aragorn from Lord of the Rings going up against the monsters of Elden Ring. If you can think of a popular game, chances are they've covered it.

In other Fallout news, a new mod for Fallout New Vegas lets you clown on the remnants of the NFT market. The NFT Memorial mod gives the game its very own Bored Ape, but local residents will be pretty peeved if you go up and screenshot the thing.
